Obituary of Clarence William Owens

Owens, Clarence William "Bill", age 87, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid-Pinellas. Born in Kansas City, MO, on August 16, 1930 to the late William Jewel and Nadine (Hilton) Owens, he married Elnora Lawson on November 2, 1952. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a store manager in Stephens Point, WI and moved to Pinellas Park in 1966. He and Elnora founded and were pastors of Christian Service Center in St. Petersburg. Clarence is survived by his wife of 66 years Elnora; a son, Alan Owens; a daughter, Elana Lennon (Larry); seven grandchildren, Yona Owens, Taya Sanchez (Jose), Joshua Owens, Hannah Owens, Shannon Scully, Shaun Scully, Sharon Scully; six great grandchildren, Ash Owens, Emma and Kyla Scully-Strain, Paris Scully-Jones, Rich Barrett III and Erik Zimmerman . There will be a graveside service on Monday May 14, 2018 at 2:00PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with military honors by the MacDill Air Force Base Honors team.
