Obituary of Rollan Becker

Becker, Rollan "Red", 84, of St. Petersburg, passed away July 5th, 2009. He was known as an excellent farmer for 47 years in Mason City, IL which he accomplished with one hand. The other hand was lost in an agricultural accident in 1943. Although in his later years he suffered health issues, his sense of humor and work ethic never left him. Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Rita David Gottfred and Tom Rhonda Becker; granddaughter, Sara Mike Lopez; great grandchildren, Lily and Julian Lopez all of St. Petersburg; 3 sisters, Connie OH, Patty IL and Jeannie FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arleigh and Grace Becker, and two brothers, Donald and Wesley. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, FL. Graveside Service & Interment will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Mason City Cemetery in Mason City, IL.
