Obituary of James E. Hartfield

Hartfield, James Elmer, Jr. MD "Dr. Jim", 73, of Largo, passed away Sunday March 8, 2009 at Largo Medical Center under the care of his loving family and Hospice. Born in Houston, TX, he graduated from Baylor Medical School and practiced Pediatric Medicine in Rochester, MN following his Residency at Mayo Clinic. He was a member of the Church By The Sea in Madeira Beach where he loved to sing in the choir. He is preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Maurine Hartfield. Survivors include his 4 sons, Mark Cristina, Scott, Jeffrey Krista and Craig Janine, his sister Jeri Thomas, his former wife Sally and his life partner, Gene Bundrock. He was so loved by his 6 grand children, Clair, Roxanne, Audrey, Celeste, Tony and Marcus. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 1:00 PM at the Church by the Sea, 495 137th Ave. Circle, Madeira Beach, FL.
