Obituary of Mildred L. Green

Green, Mildred L., 95, of Largo, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Largo Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Green and her son, Haldyn Green. She is survived by her son, Al Green of Seminole; her daughter, Terry Samiec of Powder Springs, GA; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and her sister, Virginia in Minnesota. Mrs. Green was a 30 year retired school teacher having taught in Indiana for 20 years and at Madeira Beach Middle School in Pinellas County for 10 years. Mrs. Green served in the Peace Corp, volunteered at the Hinton Rural Life Center in Georgia, worked with Meals on Wheels, and volunteered at the VA Hospital here in Pinellas County. The family will receive friends on Thursday Feb 22, 2018 from 11:00AM - 12Noon at Reese Funeral Home 6767 Seminole Blvd Seminole, FL 33772. A funeral service will follow at 12Noon at the funeral home, with interment at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
