Vacation in Florida and camp will never be the same. Our family always enjoyed you and your blunt honesty. People always knew where they stood with you. So glad we were able to spend the time we had together.

Some of my best memories are at camp with the Haydukes, and Betty cooking for an army! Good times, and one of the great Ladies.

My dear Aunt Betsy and second mom. You were always there to listen, and give advice when needed. You were an amazing cook....squash pie, and stuffing at Thanksgiving, potato bread at Christmas, Spanish rice anytime, and always made extra to share with others. When I was a teenager visiting Butterfield Lake, we would go for a walk every morning at 7:30. It didn't matter that your knees were hurting so bad that you had to walk backwards up the hill by Roger's farm, that never stopped you from exercising. You were an inspiration to me to keep moving. I will miss our conversations while sitting on the beach, your laughter, sharing decaf coffee with you on the porch, and your smile. May you rest in peace. I will close in the way that you always did with each card that you sent. God bless you. Cathy

You were more than my Aunt, you were a second Mother. If it weren't for you Mom and Dad would not have met and for that and that alone I thanks you with all the Love in my Heart. Memories of you will always be your Beautiful Flower Garden on the Farm full of Tulips, Irises, Tiger Lilies, Lilies of the Valley, Daffodils and many more varieties.
Flowers you'd pick for us to take to school for the May Crowning of The Blessed Mother or just to give to our Teachers, Homemade Candy Apples, Canning vegetables, and the traditional foods you cooked for the Holidays. You were a strong Woman who did things you own way, but you'd give the shirt off you back to someone in need. We've shared so much of life it will be hard to imagine you not being there in person. Our last words spoken were, " See you on Christmas Eve and I Love You." Little did I know that the Lord had other plans. I will miss you my Dear Aunt. Thank you for your Love and all the Memories. God Bless you. Theresa

You always had a smile for me at every Hayduke gaithering
And there were many . I tell friends we usually have in excess of 60 family members at at these events and that's a reflection on you and my parents bringing us up teaching us the importance of a families love an support
I will remember this summer at the cabin you shared a couple of fish fry's with my Dad and me
Finally we all will remember the box of zip locks you would bring to the events .we used to laugh but little did we know you would take the leftovers home and feed the neighbors who were less fortunate
I love Aunt Betsy and will miss you

You were so blunt, so honest, sometimes brutally so. Last week, you smiled and held my hand, and told me I looked nice. I would love to blame the medications, but you knew what was happening and you had a sense of peace about you. One I have not seen in years. I will miss playing "what's in the crock pot," because you always kept us guessing, but it's a memory I smile at now. Your potato bread... I often took another piece when you would abandon your post and leave the pan and kitchen scissors. Your Christmas cards you filled out every year for everyone- I still have most of them. Seeing you at the table at Christmas Eve, waiting to cut and serve the line- you loved this. I don't mourn tonight because you are gone. I mourn change, and I feel like we are one step closer to significant changes in our family. We have been so blessed and in no small part, you paved the way for us all with regards to family and faith. My hope is you have found peace, are dancing a very lively polka with Unc, and are filling grandma in on all that has happened and all the latest gossip. I know if anything, you are free from pain and have found the heaven your strong faith guided you to. I will miss you, but know you are preparing a place for us all much like you did when or family first began. To Sylvia, Greg, Pat, Bob, Irene, and Andy, and all your families individually, our family is large and strong for many reasons, and our hearts and arms are here for you all.
