Obituary of Theresa M. Parkinson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa M. Parkinson, long time resident of Seminole.

Theresa was born on January 28, 1924 in Potsdam , New York but loved the Seminole area in retirement. Theresa loved many sports, both participating in or watching with one of her son-in-laws or grandson. She was able to golf into her 80s. Theresa was a great wife, mother, daughter, aunt, grandma, and great grandmother. She loved music and dancing as well as a good laugh.

Theresa is survived by her 4 daughters Mary (Steve) Crandell, Carol (Jeff) McGovern, Joan Parkinson (Chris Morrone), Debra (Peter) Wehr, as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, her mother and father Katherine and Cornelius Sullivan, her brothers James and Bernard, and granddaughter Theresa.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 11565 66th Ave N, Seminole, FL 33772 on Friday September 22, 2023 at 1:00pm. The family requests that any donations be directed to the Long Lake Public Library, P.O. Box 533, Long Lake, New York 12847.
