Obituary of Susan J Phillips-Hassett

Susan Phillips-Hassett, 51, of Seminole, Florida passed away on August 24, 2023 after a long illness. She was born in Germany as the daughter of an Army father. She had lived in Florida since the 1990’s. She is survived by her husband Edward Neumyer, her parents, Kenneth and Suzanne Phillips, her brothers Ken and George Phillips, her children, Brian Hassett Jr and Emma Leigh Hassett, son-in-law Ed Ruebush and her grandchildren Rhys and Lilith Ruebush.

Sue was always the first to offer support to others in need whether volunteering at an event or on a more personal level.

She had been employed at Arthur J Gallagher insurance company for over 15 years.

She was very involved in the American Legion Auxiliary at Post 252 in Seminole, Florida serving as past president and also the Auxiliary Color Guard.

Services will be at Reese Funeral Home 6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole FL on Thursday August 31st from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm.
