To the White family,
We only recently learned of Billy´s death and we are deeply saddened.
We remember Billy as a very personable and caring person who had a smile and pleasant greeting for everyone. We particularly remember when he and his Brother Ken visited our Mom at Sharon Regional Hospital shortly before she passed. Their visit made her very happy.
Our deepest sympathies to his Mom Betty Lou, and his Sister Marcia, and to the extended family members
May he rest in peace.

Betty, Marcia and others our deepest sympathy to all of you. We are still in shock to hear about the loss of Billy. Debby knew Billy and his precious mother Betty and family while attending First Baptist Church in Sharon, Pa. When Debby decided to interview for a job in St Petersburg, Fla, Billy was the one to pick her up at the airport and show her around the town. He was so great friend to so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and life partner Ben.

Dear Ben,
I just learned of Bill’s passing. I am so sorry! I loved running into you two especially at restaurants when Bill would try to tell the waiter they should not wait on me. You both always had a smile and made us smile with you. He will be sadly missed. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh Bill - You were bigger than Life! You always made me laugh. Always had a big hug to say hello. You were the first person I met at Madison 1, and you made me feel very welcome indeed. Even though you moved out of our friendly complex, you checked in periodically to find out the current gossip. Boy, you loved the gossip - the nastier the better (haha). And dear sweet Ben, you have been the perfect foil for Bill’s crazy pranks. Definitely a match made in heaven. So many times I asked Bill to give me a “rating” on a new man in our complex…and how many times did you tell me “hey Sue your gaydar is on the fritz again”. Fun memories. I know you are spicing up heaven and keeping those angels laughing out loud. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend. Until we meet again.

It is with heavy heart that I write this. Bill was a good, kind, fun friend that always seemed to put others first. The fun we had in road test class, planning your retirement party, the lunches, dinners and conferences we got to share will always remain in my mind. Who can forget the St Pete Trader Joe’s opening and waiting in line. So many fond memories. I will miss you always. My condolences to the family, it’s so heartbreaking to lose such a kind soul.

Billy and I shared memories of Carroll Lane, in Hermitage, where I grew up and he would visit family. Later we reconnected and he joined us on the Buhl Day Committee. He will be missed, always fun and brimming with good ideas. My deepest sympathy, Karen Campman Emmett
